Napoléon

Tasting caracteristics

A quite pleasant classic Grande Champagne Cognac. A little more powerful than La Pouyade with some notes of almond (marzipan) and dried fruit, walnut, date. Long finish with spicy notes coming through.

Fat and buttery (walnut, marzipan).

Mouth

Powerful with vanilla, walnut and spicy tones.

Pairings

To be enjoyed pure or on ice with foie gras
and a tarte tatin for dessert.

Distillation

Wine with the lees.
Distilled twice in Charentais pot still.
